It is essential that a Fire Fire Risk Assessment is carried out on any property that is open to the public or that is deemed commercial. The purpose of a Fire Risk Assessment is to make properties as safe as possible and identify potential fire risks and react to them with solutions and fixes.
Blue Watch offer a registration program that allows you to list your properties on a public forum, demonstrating your commitment to safety. When registering your properties you can access important safety information and advice.Registration Form
When you are responsible for the safety of others you have a duty of care to ensure that fire safety regulations are complied with, even if current legislation does not specifically name you or your business activities.
CFOA Blue Watch have created an online self-assessment form that helps you to ensure the premises you are looking at is safe from fire, smoke and Carbon Monoxide and that risk to life is kept to a minimum. The form will guide you through the FRA set out by the 2005 Regulatory Reform Order and cover all commercial aspects required.
The aim of the Fire Risk Assessment Plus is to identify fire risks, suggest potential solutions to remove the risk and to increase safety all over. On completion of the assessment the applicant will be given a 12 month certificate of compliance and will be placed on the public Blue Watch Approved Property Register. The certificate awarded is downloadable for the use of the applicant.Self-Assessment Registration Form
